The Camp Store Associate is responsible for operating our merchandise locations.

Requirements:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Have extensive product knowledge and ability to make appropriate suggestions to guests.
Welcoming and engaging with customers as they enter the store
Ability to apply sales techniques, merchandising and implement sales strategies
Stocking and refilling floor as needed
Completing opening and closing procedures
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
Ability to utilize a POS system and software
Responsible for cash handling and till funds.
Other duties as assigned
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS
High school degree or equivalent preferred
Customer Service Experience
Knowledge of retail operations experience
Knowledge of merchandising techniques
Health and Safety Certifications
Strong interpersonal skills
BASIC SCHEDULE/REQUIREMENTS
Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50lbs.
Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations, and guidelines
Must be comfortable working in an indoor and outdoor all-season environment.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings, a must
On-site Camp Attendance Requirements :
Summer Camp Season (June 9th- August 24th)
Preferred 11-week commitment within Summer camp season
Optional: Pre-camp events (Starting in April) and Post-camp events (Sept-Oct)
As a requirement of this position, pre-hire criminal history clearances are collected from the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH) system, child abuse clearances are obtained through the Department of Public Welfare, and federal history is taken through FBI fingerprint screening.
