*Job Title/Position: Assistant Dispensary Manager*
*Reports to*
Dispensary Manager
*Summary/Objective*
The Assistant Dispensary Manager (“ADM”) is responsible for providing patients and caregivers with product information and knowledge needed to make an appropriate product selection.
The ADM will educate the patient on various products, cannabinoids, strains, and administration methods.
The ADM is responsible for performing sales transactions and ensuring the patient receives the appropriate product in the appropriate dosage and form.
The ADM is responsible for assisting the Dispensary Manger with overseeing Patient Intake Coordinator (“PIC”) intake; Patient Care Coordinator (“PCC”) transactions; troubleshooting Point of Sale (“POS”) issues such as MJ Freeway glitches; approving product returns and refunds; training newly hired employees on KCIW POS policies and procedures, MJ Freeway, cash transactions, etc.
The ADM is also responsible for the accurate tracking, logging, and organization of all inventory in the vault and on the sales floor at their location.
This job requires direct communication with the Dispensary Manager and Regional Inventory Manager to ensure the accurate record keeping of all products in MJ Freeway.

The Assistant Dispensary Manager duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Assisting in the preparation of the cash register tills, ensuring there is at least $250.
00 in the register.
· Performing all exchanges of cash such as, preparing cash drops, change replenishment, preparing banking drops, and register pulls.
· Moving and tracking funds in MJ Freeway.
· Completing sales transactions in MJ Freeway.
· Providing compliant receipts and paperwork upon sale completion.
· Informing patients on the multiple Grower Processors (“GP”) that currently have product available on the market.
· Educating patients on different products, strains, terpenes, and formulations of the products.

· Promoting a patient-first culture and positive work environment.
· Handling customer complaints, requests, reviews, etc.
· Completing returns in MJ Freeway and Airtable.
· Closing out/countdown register at the end of each day.
· Completing Daily Closing Reports in Airtable.
· Ensuring the dispensary sales floor is set up by removing cartridges and concentrates from the vault.
· Educating patients on available product by printing daily menus.
· Updating menus, as needed, in iheart Jane throughout the day when receiving new product or depleting current product inventory.
· Assisting in the purchasing and dispensing of product at the POS, as needed.
· Assisting in scheduling and monitoring staggered breaks and lunches for the PCCs and PICs.
· Assisting the Dispensary Manager in completing daily counts of all products on the dispensary sales floor before the dispensary is open for business.
· Moving product from the vault to the dispensary floor both physically and in MJ Freeway.
· Keeping the dispensary sales floor clean and tidy.
· Ensuring the environmental settings are appropriate for the current patient(s).
· Inviting the next patient in the MJ Freeway queue to the dispensing floor.
· Assisting physically disabled individuals within dispensary sales floor.
· Keeping floor inventory shelves stocked.
· Checking in all deliveries on visitor logs.
· Keeping an accurate count of vault inventory.
· Keeping an accurate count of cart inventory.
· Completing a Daily Inventory Log at the beginning of the business day.
· Placing order requests with the Regional Inventory Manager when inventory becomes low.
· Moving products from vault to the sales floor while making the appropriate changes in MJ Freeway.
· Creating new strains, products, and pricing groups in MJ Freeway.
· Reconciling inventory in MJ Freeway.
· Creating sales orders and intake of manifests.
· Organizing delivery times.
· Enforcing Department of Health rules and regulations with delivery drivers.
· Handling all product intake.
· Organizing manifests and invoices into Google Drive.
· Handling all GP product returns.
· Training new employees.
*Supervisory Responsibility* N/A *Work Environment* This job operates in a Medical Cannabis Dispensary.
This job operates in a professional office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
*Physical Demands* Must be able to lift items up to 50lbs individually.
Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for long periods of time.
Must be able to work in a professional office environment, with moderate to loud noise levels, smells, and changing working conditions.
May require the use of personal protective equipment.
*Position Type/Expected Hours of Work* This is a Non-Exempt (hourly) position, and hours of work and days vary Monday through Saturday.
Varying schedules and flexibility are required for this position.
This position may require longer than normal scheduled work hours and frequent weekend work.
*Travel* No travel is required with this position.
