*REPORTS TO: * THRIFT STORE MANAGER
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
Aid in the overall operation of the American Rescue Workers' Thrift Store.
*DUTIES:*
1.
Aid in the daily activities in the operations of the Thrift Store such as the purging/ragging out process, sorting donations, sorting merchandise, pricing and tagging inventory, merchandising, display, etc.
2.
Responsible to help maintain store cleanliness
3.
Responsible for maintaining an accurate record of store receipts and monies, daily operation of the POS sales system and all receipts
4.
Keeping the store stock rotated and put out on sales floor
5.
Merchandising, pricing of items
6.
Responsible in aiding the customers and providing excellent customer service
7.
Report to the Manager any customer concerns, requests or complaints
8.
Special projects as assigned
9.
Attend employee meetings
10.
Must be physically able to stand for prolonged periods, lift, and bend
11.
All other duties as requested
*QUALIFICATIONS:*
Must be able to work at an extremely high level of productivity with minimal direct supervision.
Should have some experience in retail/sales.
Able to follow simple direction.
Must have cash handling experience and able to do basic math.
Organizational, coordinating, merchandising, retail sales and customer service skills necessary.
Able to multi-task.
