Selling my Mesa Mark IV head.
Reasonable offers entertained.
Everything works as it should.
I never tried the silent record function, but the amp does mute when you pull the master volume.
The master volume is a little jumpy below “1” but from what I’ve read that is normal operation with these If you’re looking you already know this is a killer sounding amp, especially channel 3.
Contrary to popular opinion, you can get great sounds out of channel 2 if you spend the time to dial it in.
The amp started life as a combo.
I bought a brand new headshell with reverb tank from mesa 2 years ago so its in great looking shape, save for some minor “yellowing” of the lettering for the controls.
Has JJ tubes from eurotubes, their “high gain“ option.
About 3 years on them at bedroom levels.
Amp never left the house except to move across town once.
I’m only selling to fund a pedal board build, and because its way more than I need (occasionally playing at church, and recording at home).
This amp is LOUD.
I never turned it up past 2 and that was even way too much for practicing.
