Job Description
We are hiring full-time caregivers for a very rewarding case in the Williamsport area.
If you are an experienced caregiver with a CNA or the equivalent experience and you’re looking for an interesting case that will test your skills and maybe even teach you new skills then this is the perfect position for you.
We will provide all the training you need to be successful.
Responsibilities:
Assisting with personal care, which may include bathroom functions, bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating.
Following a prescribed health care plan, which may include assisting with exercise.
Providing emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks.
Providing mobility assistance and transfer, for example, helping the client in and out of bed, a chair, or a wheelchair.
Transporting or escorting the client to medical and other appointments.
Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and needs.
Minimum Requirements:
A professional and friendly attitude.
Ability to think and work independently and with direction, and communicate with staff members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
Able to pass a background check.
One-on-one care! No bouncing from case to case and no extensive travel is required.
Qualifications:
No certifications required.
Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
Must have 3-5 years experience as a professional home health aide or experience working in a skilled nursing or assisted living facility.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Must have a current 2 step TB test or willing to get one before starting.
Willing to travel up to 60 miles from Williamsport.
