University Advancement is seeking a Coordinator for the Center for Career Advancement (CCA) to welcome and interact with guests and provide support for a variety of projects and events.
You will use your organizational skills to manage multiple projects and tasks to provide effective and timely support services, and work in an environment where ideas for improvement are welcome and encouraged.
Job Duties: In this role, you will be responsible for: Front Office : Serve as the primary point of contact, assisting with walk-ins, calls, voicemails, and emails with professionalism.
Independently make decisions on appropriate referrals for students and alumni, showcasing your dedication to outstanding customer service.
Assist CCA team with operational support such as data entry, running reports, ordering supplies and catering and other basic office functions.
Monitor and guide daily activity of CCA interns, when needed.
Program and Event Logistics: Expertly coordinate logistical details for student career programs and events, demonstrating a meticulous approach to problem-solving.
Collaborate closely with the CCA team to ensure logistics are managed properly for successful and timely events.
Scheduling: Efficiently coordinate and manage multiple calendars within the CCA.
This includes overseeing the scheduling and logistics of reserved student interview rooms.
Actively monitor online appointment scheduling, taking charge of scheduling individual appointments.
Ensure all appointments and data are recorded appropriately and in a timely manner.
This position (and all positions in our division) requires the occasional evening and weekend work to support university events including Homecoming/Family Weekend, Reunion Weekend, and large Career events.
We do ask staff to mark their calendars in advance for these events.
This position may occasionally coordinate on-campus or off-campus events/activities outside of standard business hours.
Minimum qualifications: We are looking for someone who meets one of these three requirements: High School diploma or GED and two years of experience working in an office or customer service OR Earned an associate's or higher degree and one year of experience working in an office or customer service setting OR An equivalent combination of education and related experience And also has: Experience that demonstrates the ability to work with and provide customer service to people from diverse backgrounds in a respectful and professional manner.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, independently setting own priorities to coordinate multiple assignments with fluctuating and time-sensitive deadlines Experience that demonstrates the ability and commitment to learn how to use a variety of computer-based programs and platforms to perform essential job duties.

In this role, the Coordinator is part of the front-facing team, managing the resource room of the career center from opening to closing, while providing a consistent and welcoming experience.
This includes serving as the first point of contact for walk-in, phone and email traffic.
The Coordinator collaborates with fellow CCA team members and supports the ongoing initiatives within CCA.
The position reports to the Senior Operations Specialist.
Salary Range: The salary range for the position is $16.
00-20.
