We are seeking a Part Time OR Contract Outpatient Clinic Therapist for Middleburg and Milton school districts!
Compensation: $33.
00 phr based on fee for service *SUMMARY* It is the goal of the Therapist to provide intensive therapeutic services to a client and his/her family outside of traditional outpatient therapy settings.
Typical settings include the school and/or any other licensed entity (office location) where DTAC is licensed to provide this service.
*JOB RELATIONSHIPS* Responsible To :The entire community of OP clinic services settings with emphasis on providing primary care to clients in a clinical capacity.
Directly supervised by the Regional Clinical Coordinator (Clinical Supervisor), Regional Administrator Coordinator of Outpatient Services, and the Director of quality for DTAC.
Interrelationships: The Therapist will collaborate with all individuals involved in the client’s treatment (i.
e.
parents, teachers, extended family members, group leaders, coaches, guidance counselor, principal, and other school related officials, etc.
) throughout treatment plan development as appropriate.
Collaborative efforts ensure quality provision of services through activation of a multi-systemic level of participation when warranted.
*RESPONSIBILITIES* Develop and implement an Individualized Treatment Plan that addresses the needs of the youth with input from the client, referring agency, Regional Administrator of Outpatient Services, and Outpatient Regional Clinical Coordinator.
All goals/objectives are to be realistic, obtainable, and measurable.
The initial individual treatment plan shall be developed within 30 days of the intake and assessment of the child who participates in the clinic and should be appropriately signed and dated.
If the child is receiving psychotherapy and/or other clinic services, the psychiatrist or advanced practice professional shall approve, sign and date the initial treatment plan.
This treatment plan will then need to be reviewed and updated at a minimum of 180 days by the mental health professional (or mental health worker under the supervision of the mental health professional.
Responsible to the psychiatrist: At least 50% of the treatment staff providing psychotherapy services shall be mental health professionals.
Psychiatric supervision time is required at the frequency of 2 hours per month per each full-time (total number of staff in the outpatient clinic) mental health professional and mental health worker providing clinical services.
The psychiatrist must provide 50% of the required psychiatric time at the psychiatric outpatient clinic.
The remaining 50% of the psychiatric time may be provided by and advanced practice professional, a psychiatrist off-site via tele-behavioral heath, or a combination of the two.
The supervision of the psychiatric outpatient clinic shall be by the psychiatrist at a minimum of 2 times per month by which they participate in clinical staff meetings (and appropriately documented).
This participation can occur in-person, over the phone, through email and/or any other electronic communication format as appropriately documented.
Conduct individual family sessions with all youth and family members as needed and provide therapeutic support on a consistent basis and as outlined in the Treatment Plan.
Provide for the safety, security, and appropriate social interaction and social behavior of all youth in the program.
Maintain professional documentation duties, i.
e.
daily progress notes, incident reports, treatment planning/updating, and other responsibilities delegated by the Regional Clinical and Administrative Coordinators of Outpatient Services and Director of Clinical Quality.
Demonstrate a standard of conduct that provides effective role modeling for client population and peer group.
Present accurate clinical information to referral sources, family members, Psychiatrist, and other interagency contacts (as clinically indicated).
Provide clinical information for review in weekly supervision meetings and consultations sessions with the clinic Psychiatrist.
Improve level of competence through participation in on-going supervision and attend on and off-site training seminars.
Participate in interagency team planning in support of the implementation of the Individual treatment plan.
Perform all other duties assigned by the Regional Clinical (Clinical Supervisor) and Administrative Coordinators of Outpatient Services, and the Director of Clinical Quality.
*QUALIFICATIONS* A mental health professional must meet one of the following: a) Has a graduate degree from a college or university that is accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or Council for Higher Accreditation (CHEA) in a generally recognized clinical discipline in which the degree program includes a clinical practicum.
b) Has an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).
The department will accept a general equivalency report from the listed evaluator agencies to verify a foreign degree or its equivalency.
c) Is licensed in a generally recognized clinical discipline that includes mental health clinic experience.
