Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and document patient symptoms, progress, and vital signs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques
- Assist with procedures such as spinal taps, sutures, and laboratory specimen collection
- Coordinate and schedule appointments for patients, including referrals to specialists
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems like Athenahealth
Requirements:
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of {location}
