*Responsibilities:*
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist with tube feeding and catheterization as needed
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
*Requirements*:
- Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a nursing assistant training program
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Experience in hospice care, behavioral health, senior care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, such as eClinicalWorks, is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients
