DESCRIPTION OF WORK This role requires the knowledge and understanding of advanced bookkeeping procedures and accounting principles to provide guardianship services to incapacitated clients at the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS) and the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) facilities.
These services are mandated by the Vecchione Court Order of 1978.
In this position, you will provide fiscal management and support to efficiently and effectively meet the fiscal management and personal needs of clients.
This is done in conformance to established Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the Guardian Accounting Program (GAP).
This position is under the direct supervision of the Guardian Officer.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 37.
5 hours per week Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 1 day per week after completion of the probationary period.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Danville.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience performing bookkeeping or clerical accounting work; or An associate degree in accounting or business administration including or supplemented by six credits in accounting; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements: You must meet the PA residency requirement.
