HR Generalist
What You’ll Do:
HR Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including facilitating and managing employee relations, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducts and documents formal investigations of employee complaints.
Recommends appropriate resolution and reviews with HR management when necessary
Corrective action review
Conducts exit interviews in a timely manner, analyzes, and summarizes data periodically for leadership review.
Files documents into appropriate employee files.
Assists employees with payroll related issues as needed
Administers workers compensation and guest claims
Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; Rate changes, position movement, terminations
Assist in the execution of the Human Resources strategic plan in support of the overall business unit and corporate strategic direction
Work closely with general management to understand business issues and opportunities and assist them in developing and implementing HR initiatives to address those opportunities
Evaluates and edits policies/procedures as needed
Monthly reporting
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices
Performs other related duties as required
Candidate must possess the following:
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Thorough understanding of state and federal laws concerning labor relations.
Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
At least 3 years of human resource experience preferred.
